Hair extensions & clip-ons(in's)?

Do hair extensions look and feel real?

What about the clip ins? Can you see the clips?

I have been pulling my hair (trichotillomania) and my hair is pretty thin in a few areas so I was thinking of getting extensions or just the clip on extensions to mask my thin hair a bit so I can stop wearing a hat.

What do you suggest...as far as the extensions?

Do you know of any good brands and prices and links or salons in the galveston/texas area?

Thank you!Hair extensions %26amp; clip-ons(in's)?
Ok if you want real looking and feeling ones go for 100% human hair extensions. for the clip in ones the clips do not show if you use them right. this is a good company but they can be a bit pricey. http://www-hair-extensions.com/index.php鈥?/a>

any company would work but this one is one i use for colored ones.Hair extensions %26amp; clip-ons(in's)?
clip ins are good for if you just want them for an simple event, and if yuo want to just pop them in twice a week or something, but you cant really wear them for a long period of time. in you want someone thing you can keep for a while then get extensions..but whatever you do DO NOT get extensions that are glued into your hair! it will ruin it! make sure if you get extensions that they are good, and not really cheap ones that will damange your hair.
Unless your willing to pay for really good extensions go for the clip on. The ones Jessica Simpson is spokesperson for are great. Real hair extensions look great if they are braided in but you need to keep up on it and would you be able to keep them in with your condition? Good luck, I feel for you.
if you get the more expensive hair extensions they look and feel extremelly real and if you dont tell anyone they wont even know you have them, same goes with clip ins

a friend told me that you should get the hair extensions ';made out of real hair or something because if you get the paris hilton ones you cant straighten or curl them and they dont look real'; idk if that helps or not but thought i would include it considering she wears them all the time and they look great

and i live on the other side of the country so im sorry i dont know what stores there are in your area, but try calling a bigger salon and asking for suggestions..

hope i helped :)
yes extensions look a feel real they are amazing,if you blend in your hair you wont be bale to notice that there are any extensions in.i know of a girl who has her own boutique on myspace and she sells human hair extensions for really cheap, cheaper then buying them online at some hair store or getting them done at the salon she even includes the clips at a very low price, if you have a myspace you should add her, she is a cosmetologist as well so she can also help you answer all these questions,
