Heres the thing, different metal detectors are set to different sensitivities, so they could set them off. However if they do and you don't want to be embarrassed just ask for a private screening. ha ha ha.. I'm sorry but that is funny.. It shouldn't set it off... maybe they would just wand your head and check it before they make you take them out.
